The drop in sales of PCs is undeniable, but corporate desktops still exist-at least for now. Here are 10 reasons why PCs still don't die.

1. The company desktop is very cheap

One of the biggest reasons people choose a corporate desktop is that PCs are cheap. PC hardware prices have fallen steadily over the years, and the trend will continue as PC makers resist market downturns. In contrast, the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technology is expensive to deploy.

2. Removal and replacement are not cost-effective

When it comes to costs, the other reason the Enterprise PC exists is that the cost of dismantling and replacing is more expensive. If the right desktop is already deployed within the organization, and these PCs are able to do their job, it makes no sense to remove them from a business perspective using other devices. PC can still work
