Excel 2007 Worksheet Protection

Excel2007 worksheet protection is very flexible, through the example below, I believe that friends will appreciate its benefits. Here, you will use the following features of Excel2007:

★ Insert Formula

★ Protect Worksheet

★ Remove Worksheet protection

Step 1th Cell Protection

By default, all cells have a locked property, and once the EXCEL2007 worksheet is protected, no data can be entered in those cells, so we have to cancel the locking properties of some cells.

First, you right-click the row and column junction of the worksheet, which produces two results: Select all cells and pop-up shortcut menus, and then click Format Cells, as shown in Figure 1.

Next, click Protect in the pop-up dialog box to switch to the tab page, as shown in Figure 2.

Then, after you check lock and hide, click OK to exit the setup status and return to the Excel editing interface.

Step 2nd to remove the protection status of some cells

Select the range of the object cells, right-click, and select Format cells, as shown in Figure 3;

Then follow the previous action to clear the hook before the lock and hide, as shown in Figure 4.

Step 3rd Protection Worksheet

First, click Review to switch to the tool panel, then click Protect Sheet, then enter the password two times (the password must be the same two times), and then click OK, as shown in Figure 5.

Entering data in these cells will get the rejection dialog shown in Figure 18. In this way, we can only enter the data in the unprotected cell, which does not affect the normal use of the performance statistics, but also effectively protects the worksheet from being incorrectly manipulated.

Step 5th Remove Worksheet protection

If the EXCEL2007 worksheet is protected, the Protect Sheet button automatically changes to unprotect sheet, and we can click the button and then enter the previous password to unprotect the worksheet, as shown in Figure 7.
