Graphs can be used to represent a relative relationship between data, in general, we usually use column chart to compare the number of relationships between data, using line chart to reflect the trend between the relationship between data, using pie chart to represent the proportional distribution of data. The use of Excel chart production can generate many types of charts, below the column chart, line chart, pie chart three types as an example, respectively, introduced its production methods.
Column Chart
1. Click the "start → program →mi-crosoft Excel" to enter the Excel work interface, first make a statistical table, and drag to select the data area to generate the chart.
2. Click Chart on the Insert toolbar, display the Chart Wizard first step-Chart Type dialog box, select the chart type as a column chart, and click Next.
3. Go to the Chart Wizard step two--chart data source, select Series as needed to produce rows or columns, and click Next.
4. Go to the Chart Wizard step three--chart options, with a set of option labels that determine what information is needed to be displayed in the resulting chart (such as chart titles, axis headings, gridlines, and so on, depending on the individual's need to generate the chart).
5. Usually click Next to go to the Chart Wizard step four--the chart position, by default, the program embeds the resulting chart in the current worksheet. If you want the chart to be separate from the table workspace, select a new worksheet item and enter the name of the new form in the chart position.
6. If the above steps are wrong, you can press the "Back" button to return to the selection, complete the 4th step of the Chart Wizard, if there is no error, click the "Finish" button to generate a column chart of the comparison data.
Line chart
In the resulting column chart, right-click the diagram area, display a list of commands, select a chart type option, display the Chart Type dialog box, select a line chart from the dialog box, and then click OK to generate a line chart that reflects the trend of the data.
Pie chart
As with the build step of the line chart, you can generate a pie chart that reflects the proportional allocation of data by selecting pie chart from the Chart Type dialog box and clicking the OK button.
