Operation Steps

We have described the use of option settings in Excel to encrypt the workbook document before saving it, and if we already have the Save As dialog box open, what if we want to encrypt the workbook?

In the Save As dialog box, press the Tools button on the toolbar, in the Drop-down list that pops up, select General Options, open the Save Options dialog box, set the password to open, and then retype the password to confirm the exit.
