Excel Web Access Error:Unable to Load Workbook

The workbook that selected cannot is loaded because it contains the following features that is not supported by Excel Services:

Comments,activex controls, Shapes, Text Boxes, Pictures, WordArt, Clip Art, Embedded OLE objects, Ink Annotations, Forms T Oolbar controls, Control Toolbox controls, Charts that is part of a group, Signature Lines, or Camera objects

Contact the workbook author.

Depending on the error, it is possible to remove features that are not supported by Excel Services in the referenced Excel file.

Features that are not currently supported are as follows:

· Code. This includes workbooks with VBA macros, form controls, toolbox controls, Microsoft Excel 5.0 dialog box worksheets, and XLM macro tables.

· Information Rights Management (IRM) protection.

· ActiveX controls.

· The embedded smart tag.

· A PivotTable report that has multiple consolidation data regions.

· External references (workbooks that contain links to other workbooks).

· Workbooks saved in a formula view.

· XML expansion pack.

· XML mappings.

· Data validity.

· Query tables, SharePoint lists, Web queries, and text queries.

· The workbook that references the add-in.

· Workbooks that use the RTD () function.

· Workbooks that are protected with workbooks and worksheets.

· An embedded picture or clip art.

· Cell and sheet background pictures.

· AutoShapes and WordArt.

· Ink annotations.

· Organization Chart.

· DDE link.

There are other features that cannot be displayed, as follows:

Workbooks that contain one or more of the following features are loaded in Excel Services but do not display these features. In addition, these features will not be removed from the file, so the next time you open the file in Excel 2007, the features will be displayed again.

· Split panes and Freeze panes

· Headers and footers

· Page Layout view

· Cell pattern

· Scaling

· ScreenTip for the member properties of Microsoft SQL Server analysis Services

· Some cell formats, such as diagonal borders and border types not supported by HTML

Excel Services displays all the charts created using Excel 2007. However, some small visual differences occur when you use Excel Web Access to display some charts, depending on how these charts are designed. For example, Excel Web Access cannot display new chart effects (for example, shadows, bevel, and reflection).
