Exchange 2016 integrates Adrms series-5: Integrated Exchange 2016

The Exchange server defaults to disabling the integration of adrms, which we can view through PowerShell in Exchange 2016.

You can see that internallicensingenabled defaults to false.

If you do not enable IRM integration, even if you deploy the Adrms feature, Exchange cannot initialize an RMS server that is connected to an enterprise and cannot use the Adrms functionality.

We use the following command to enable IRM functionality.

Once setup is complete, review the confirmation again.

Once the configuration is complete, we test the configuration to ensure that the tests pass.

After the IRM deployment succeeds, only two adrms built-in templates can be used by default: non-forwarded, unrestricted.

Later we can customize to configure more templates for the user to use.
