The last article tells you how to create a dag for Exchange 2016, and a DAG replication network, to complete the deployment of a high availability group for the back-end database.
Today, we'll talk about some later configurations.
First, create a copy of the database. The word copy is understood, which is a separate copy of the database and a copy of the running state. It communicates and replicates with the primary database at all times, and detects the state of the primary database server through a failover cluster.
In the event of a primary database disconnection, quickly take over all the mailbox database communication connection, so as to ensure that the user's mailbox access is normal.
First find the database we need to create a copy of. Click the ellipsis and click "Add Database Copy"
(How to create a new database \ How to delete an old database see my previous article)

On the specified mailbox database server, select the Mailbox role server name that you want to hold the replica to, and then select the priority. (because I've already added it here, you can see that there are already two mailbox role servers, and if you create a new copy, the priority is already ranked third)

At this point, we will be prompted to close the database's circular logging function.
We go back to the previous level and need to uninstall the database first.
Select the database, click the ellipsis, click "Uninstall"
650) this.width=650; "height=" 377 "title=" image "style=" border:0px; "alt=" image "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M00 /7d/77/wkiol1bphiai-dr3aacco4lflfo367.png "border=" 0 "/>
When the uninstallation is complete, open the database properties, and on the Maintenance tab, remove the option to enable circular logging.

Then mount the database and add the copy.
650) this.width=650; "height=" 471 "title=" image "style=" border:0px; "alt=" image "src=" http://s3.51cto.com/wyfs02/M02 /7d/77/wkiol1bphiji_vlwaaa2-yu1984206.png "border=" 0 "/>
You can see that the mailbox data has been synchronized during the replica creation process.

After copying, we can see that there are two servers with database replicas. Of course, this can be based on the internal situation of the enterprise, you can continue to increase the number of servers.

Finally, the circular log is enabled.

Here, basically the deployment of the DAG is completely over.
