Failure to open Oracle 12.1.0.2 ASMCA under AIX

Because a new 13T disk group is being added, it is decided to process it through ASMCA.

First of all

Cd/dev

Chownd grid:asmadmin hdiskn

Chownd grid:asmadmin rhdiskn

Then modify the ASM configuration

Based on Oracle's ASM documentation, SRVCTL can modify the ASM disk string in the following syntax format:

Srvctl Modify ASM [-listener listener_name] [-pwfile password_file_path] [-diskstring asm_diskstring] [-spfile spfile_ Path_name [-proxy]]

However, to switch to the grid, it was found that there was no such format at all, possibly a document lag.

Rogue, then Login

Grid>sqlplus "/as sysdba"

Alter system set asm_diskstring= '/dev/rhdisk* ' Scope=both

/

The results can be entered. But before the change, the value of asm_diskstring is/dev/r*.

Also viewed under/dev r* results found many non-grid:asmadmin content, should be because of these caused, do not know who modified.
