Fedora 25 is coming!
GuideAfter six months of development and two delays, the Linux-based Fedora 25 operating system was officially released today. This is the first release with the next-generation Wayland display server installed by default, however, this is only applicable to workstation versions with GNOME 3.22 desktop environments.

Paul W. Frields, former ora project leader, said: "Wayland can replace outdated X11 display servers by default. The purpose is to provide a smoother and richer user experience when using the ora workstation version. If the consumer needs it, you can also choose to change to the old X11 as the service. When you select to log on to the user page, you can use the setting button to switch. However, the server is dedicated to promoting communication between the new system and hardware ."
