Most system administrators have used a single key restore. Indeed, a single key backup and restore can help the administrator recover the questionable operating system in the shortest time content. You can also configure multiple restore points for the operating system.
But then a key backup and restore operation is more complex, such as the need to restart the operating system to complete. It also has a single function that cannot be run directly under the Windows operating system environment. Today, the WINDOWS7 operating system brings us this surprise, which allows you to perform a basic backup and restore of partitioned content on its platform.
First, open the partition backup configuration.
In Windows7, this partition backup file is called a restore point. This restore point is a copy of the files and folders in the operating system at some point in time. When users inadvertently modify or delete files or folders that cannot be modified, the system administrator can restore the files that were mistakenly modified and mistakenly deleted by the restore points previously established.
By default, the Windows7 operating system only opens this security for the partition on which the operating system resides. If you need to enable this feature on other partitions or hard disks on your system, your system administrator will need to manually start it. Right-click on the desktop's computer icon, and then click Properties to talk about a dialog box on the home page of the control Panel. On the left side of this window, there is a "system guard" option. Click on this system to defend, will pop up the following dialog box.
In this dialog box, we can see that by default, it only has system protection enabled on the system disk. If your system administrator needs to enable system protection for other partitions, you can select the relevant partitions and then select the configuration to set up the relevant parameters for the restore point.
By default, it has three settings for restoring system settings and previous versions of files, restoring only previous versions of files, and shutting down system maintenance. The system administrator can choose according to the actual situation. It should be noted that by default the Windows7 operating system creates a restore point every day. To do this, you need to limit the amount of hard disk space occupied by the restore point. Avoid a lot of hard disk space because of too many restore points. When you configure whether system protection is enabled, you can set the amount of disk space usage at the same time. When the restore point file exceeds this maximum capacity limit, the system automatically deletes the older restore points and frees up enough space for the new restore point. This capacity is not restricted by default, which is very dangerous. Especially for the partition where the operating system is located, be sure to set the maximum capacity. Prevent the remaining capacity of the operating system partition from having an adverse effect on the performance of the children.
However, when I test this function, I found some unexpected situation, I do not know whether it belongs to the vulnerability of its operating system. If System Restore is not enabled, we can still create restore points by hand. As shown in the figure above, if you do not enable protection for a partition, you can still create a system restore point by pressing the Create button. Only at this point the system does not automatically create a restore point and requires the user to create it manually. In addition, the author looked at some windows, found Windows7 operating system for the Chinese is not very thorough. For some new added functions, basically did not carry on the Chinese. As shown above, you can clearly see traces of English.
