Find a "lost" world-how to restore your lost data

Having no worries about downloading websites, I feel that there are more and more data recovery software, and there are dozens of types of software that can be called, and these software have their own advantages. I cannot say which software is the best. In a word, the white cat, black cat, can catch the mouse is a good cat, so if you lose data, it is recommended to try several more software. Do not blindly listen to advertisements, or blindly listen to recommendations from netizens. It is best to learn common knowledge about data recovery so that you can be targeted when selecting software and using software, try to recover lost data.

Currently, the vast majority of data recovery software products are provided by customers, but it does not mean that we do not have such excellent software in China. Here we take the domestic two software Android data recovery and Android image restoration as an example, this section describes how to restore your lost data. The authors of these two software are also the first two professional data recovery books in China, author of data security and Programming Technology published by Tsinghua University Press and Data Recovery Technology published by Electronic Industry Press.

　　1. Restore deleted objects by mistake

Almost every computer user has experienced accidental deletion of files. This is because I accidentally deleted the files under "I: MyPhoto's 6-year-old photo" in my computer. Open "android data recovery" immediately, and select the "I: MyPhoto my daughter's 6-year-old photo" folder in "Scan path", as shown in 1 (this software is currently available, the only software that can be directly scanned using sub-Directories ).

Select the file to be restored and click the next button. The select recovery path dialog box is displayed. When restoring a file, the software cannot restore the partition where the scan directory is located to avoid secondary damage due to data overwrite.

After selecting the recovery path, click "Next" to restore the scanned deleted files to the selected folder (4 ).

The FAT32 file system does an incredible task when holding down Shift + Del to delete the file, clearing a location related to the starting cluster number of the file. When the used space in the partition is greater than 2 GB, most data recovery software can scan the file, but the recovery will fail. If the directory is deleted in this way, most data recovery software may not be able to scan this subdirectory. The "delete file recovery" function of Android data recovery performs Special Technical Processing on this. If the FAT32 partition user can scan the file but the Recovery fails, you can try the file deletion and recovery function of this software.

2. Restore incorrectly formatted partitions

If you have Formatted your H disk just like the author, some files are not backed up. In this case, do not worry. During partition formatting in Windows, no matter whether you hook up with "quick formatting", it will not actually clear the partition's data zone, as long as you no longer copy files to the partition, the data can be completely restored.

Enable Android data recovery, select the format recovery function, select the incorrectly formatted partition in the format recovery window, and click "Next" button (5 ),

The data recovery Formatting Function scans the disk at a speed of about 1.5 GB/minute. Therefore, the scanning time is generally proportional to the partition size. After waiting for a while, the scan is complete and we can see the file list shown in 6.

In this case, we can select the file to be restored for restoration. The restoration process is similar to the restoration process for deleting the file, which will not be detailed here.

If the formatting and restoration scan is performed on the FAT or FAT32 partitions, the first-level directory may be similar to the one shown in Figure 7. This is because when the FAT or FAT32 partition is formatted, all directory items in the first-level directory (root directory) will be cleared. Similarly, files in the root directory of the FAT or FAT32 partition cannot be scanned by the format recovery function. Therefore, we recommend that you use the FAT or FAT32 file system, try not to store the file directly in the root directory.

If the format of the file system before and after formatting is different, for example, the previous file system is FAT32, And the formatted file system is NTFS, in this case, many data recovery software may not scan files correctly.

The android data recovery software allows users to select the previous File System for formatting and recovery. When "automatic identification" is selected, the program considers the file system unchanged before and after scanning. Therefore, if you find that the scanned file is incorrect during formatting and scanning, you can select a file system that is automatically recognized, I have encountered a large number of inconsistencies before and after formatting. Through this attempt, data can be restored correctly.

　3. Restore data in the data Zone

If you find that the data cannot be recovered normally after data is lost, you can try this method. In the data area, the data recovery method is a data recovery method that ignores the file system, find the identifier of a specific file format in the data area, and then copy it into a file. Because the file system is ignored, the file name and directory structure cannot be restored. This method is only suitable for searching specific files in known formats, such as common documents, audio and video files, and image files.

Here, we take "android data recovery" as an example to see how to ignore the file system and restore data directly in the Data zone.

First, select the "Deep file recovery" function of the "android data recovery" software, select the scanning object, and click the "Next" button to start scanning. The scanning speed is about 2 minutes and 3 GB. After a period of scanning, we can see the scan result shown in 9. You can preview the image files in the scan results before they are restored.

After selecting a file, click "Next" to start recovery. The recovery process is similar to the deleted file recovery described earlier.

4. restore partitions

4.1 Partition Table repair

There are many reasons for partition loss, which can be summarized into two categories: one is caused by virus damage and the other is caused by misoperation. Virus damage often occurs when the virus maliciously destroys the partition table, and misoperations are usually caused by accidental cloning. For example, a cloned package of a logical partition is mistakenly cloned into a physical disk. The former often cannot find any partition, while the latter often sees only one original partition.

"Ander data recovery" provides the "repair Partition Table" function, but because operations involving partition tables are dangerous, the user positioning of this software is almost a common user, therefore, the software determines whether there are normal partitions in the disk. If there are normal partitions, no operation will be performed, therefore, "restoring Partitioned Tables" provided by "ander data recovery" is only suitable for restoring partitioned tables that are damaged. If you are a computer expert and are sure to know what you are doing, in order to enable the "partition table repair" function of "android data recovery" to work under normal partitions, you can change the end ID "0x55 0xAA" of the physical 0-sector of the disk to another value.

The "repair Partition Table" function is very easy to use. Under the "partition Repair" function, select the physical hard disk that has damaged the partition table and click "partition table repair" (10 ), if this disk does not have any normal partitions, the program will automatically search for partitions in the disk and reproduce the partition table. After the successful creation, the software will prompt you to restart the computer again.

　　4.2 Backup Recovery

If someone asks what is the best data recovery method, the answer should be backup. Therefore, it is a good habit to back up your own data. Of course, it is also a good habit to back up partition tables. As early as the DOS era, Jiangmin's KVX00 series provided the Partition Table backup function.

Here, we will use "android data recovery" as an example to demonstrate how to back up and restore a partitioned table. In the dialog box shown in figure 10, select the physical hard disk to be operated and click the "Partition Table backup" button. The File Save dialog box is displayed. In the dialog box, select the save file name and location, click "OK" to back up the partition information. This function not only backs up the Partition Table of the disk, but also backs up the boot information of each partition into the file. If a partition suddenly loses power and appears as shown in Figure 11, you can use this file to restore it.

The "Restore partition information" operation is very simple. After you click this button and select the file you have backed up, the software will automatically repair it. Of course, for the sake of security, the software will determine whether the disk serial number recorded in the selected backup file is the serial number of this disk. If not, the software prompts that the selected file is not the backup file of this disk.
