Re-authoring Android and Lubuntu dual-system firmware
Because I modified the Lubuntu drive and equipment tree information, in order to facilitate the burning system, so the re-production of dual-system firmware. The Firefly wiki tutorial has a way to make Android firmware. The two systems are made in the same way. You can refer to Http://wiki.t-firefly.com/index.php/Firefly-RK3288/Customize_android_firmware.
Steps:
1. Download the dual-system firmware on the Firefly website.
2. Unzip the firmware package (refer to the wiki).
3. Unzip the UPDATE.IMG (refer to wiki).
4. Replace the modified. img file.
For example, I modified the Lubuntu driver and device tree information. So replace Linux-boot.img and resource.img. Linux-boot.img is the kernel of Lubuntu, resource.img is the device tree information. Linux-boot.img is Lubuntu boot.img, specifically how to generate boot.img can refer to Http://wiki.t-firefly.com/index.php/Firefly-RK3288/Build_kernel.
5. Synthetic update.img
6. Synthetic release_update.img
The above steps are the same as in the wiki, but note that there is no recovery.img in the dual-system firmware (some of the forum posts are wrong), the Android firmware is recovery.img. Specifically, what is the difference between these images in the firmware, the reader of interest can unpack the comparison.
