Mozilla Firefox is a free, open source browser for Windows, Linux, and MacOS X platforms that are small in size and fast, with some other advanced features.
The main features are: Tabbed browsing, making surfing the Internet faster, pop-up windows can be blocked, custom toolbars, extended management, better search features, fast and convenient sidebar.
Mozilla Firefox 3.0 is the next-generation layout engine for Firefox, developed as "Gran Paradiso." is currently used only for testing. Testers for Web application developers and Firefox.
The first beta version of Firefox 3.0 appeared earlier this month, but Mozilla then removed it, claiming that the release was not ready for public release. Today, the Mozilla official FTP finally appeared on the real Beta 1, covering a wide range of operating system platforms and multinational languages.
With many bugs and problems, the development of Firefox 3.0 Gran Paradiso has fallen far behind the original plan, such as this Beta 1 should be released at the end of July, not 4 months from today. On the Mozilla Roadmap, only the previous eight Alpha Beta releases were released, and the time frames for future beta and final official editions were not given. Beta 2 is expected to be available at least until the end of next month, with the final official version likely to end next year, with 80% of major bugs still remaining.
