This is mainly about the use of the bitmap tool for fireworks 8, if you use PS, you will feel the two software in the bitmap processing there are many similarities, this example is a female cosmetics as the main product of the corporate propaganda website "Beijing Tatsu Beauty" image of the page effect diagram design. The company has been committed to combining technology and natural cosmetics product development. Because of the company's flagship natural and healthy product concept, so the overall page design in the green as the main style, at the same time with female models, plants and butterflies in the material to reflect the fresh, natural feeling. As shown in Figure 1.1.

1. Create a new fireworks file.

2. In the New Document dialog box that pops up, set the width of the canvas to 760 pixels, a height of 430 pixels, and a white background color. As shown in Figure 1.2.

3. Select the Marquee tool in the Drawing toolbar and make the appropriate settings in the Properties panel, as shown in Figure 1.3.

4. Use the Marquee tool to draw a rectangular selection on the right side of the canvas, as shown in Figure 1.4.

5. Select the Gradient tool in the Drawing toolbar, when the properties panel automatically changes to the adjustment property of the gradient. Sets the type of gradient to be a linear gradient, with the gradient color being white over to green. As shown in Figure 1.5.

6. Using the Gradient tool, click the left mouse button in the selection on the right side of the canvas to fill the current selection with gradients. As shown in Figure 1.6. Fill out, press the shortcut key "Ctrl+d" to launch bitmap editing mode.

Description uses the Gradient tool to click in the selection, the resulting gradient direction defaults to horizontal, and if you want to get gradients in different directions, you can use the gradient tool to drag the fill in the selection.

7. Open the prepared image footage "flowers. jpg" In a new window in fireworks 8, select the Oval Marquee tool in the Drawing toolbar, and set the appropriate settings in the Properties panel, as shown in Figure 1.7.

8. Use the Oval Marquee tool to draw a positive round selection in the image "flowers. jpg." As shown in Figure 1.8.
