Flash 0-day vulnerabilities are being exploited to spread malicious programs

Cisco Security researchers reported that a Flash 0-day vulnerability is being exploited by the penetration code toolkit Angler to spread malware. Adobe says it is investigating. Angler is using three vulnerabilities to attack Flash, two of which are old ones and have been fixed by Adobe, but the other is a new vulnerability that has not been fixed yet. The analysis shows that this 0-day vulnerability affects Windows XP (IE6 to IE8), Windows (IE 8), and Windows 8 (IE10 ). Windows 8.1 and Chrome are not affected. Flash is one of the most popular software, so it is often exploited by attackers to spread malicious programs.
