Principle

When you open a SWF file locally, Flash Player8 performs three different security mechanisms:

Local-with-filesystem only allow access to local files.
Local-with-networking only allow access to the network.
local-trusted allows local and network access to the specified location.

The third implementation is achieved by setting up local shared object from Macromedia via the Settings Manager on the Web.
