Gmail's foxmail settings

Open Foxmail 5.0.

Click the Account menu, and then select Properties.

Select personal information and enter your name as shown in the From: field in the outgoing message.

Enter your full Gmail email address (username@gmail.com).

Open the Server Information page and select the check box next to my server needs verification.

In the Receive mail (POP3) Server: field, enter "Pop.gmail.com".

In the outgoing mail server (SMTP): field, enter "Smtp.gmail.com".

In the "Login Info" section, enter your Gmail username (including "@gmail. com") and enter your Gmail password.

Click the Advanced tab.

Select the check box next to secure Connection (SSL) for this server.

In the Send Mail (SMTP): field, enter "465".

Select the check box next to this server requires secure connection (SSL) under Receive mail (POP3). This port will be changed to 995. Click OK.

Congratulations! You have completed the Foxmail client configuration and can send and receive Gmail messages.

Do you click Save changes after you enable POP in Gmail?? To ensure that Gmail communicates with your e-mail client, be sure to click Save Changes on the Gmail Mail Settings page.
