GNOME and KDE In Debian desktop environments

In Debian, GNOME and KDE are used in the desktop environment. For details, refer to Debian. 1. install gnome: apt-get install gnome. (You can also install only the core, apt-get install gnome-core)

2. Install the font.

Apt-get install ttf-arphic-bkai00mp \

Ttf-arphic-bsmi00lp \

Ttf-arphic-gbsn00lp \

Ttf-arphic-gkai00mp

3. install the xfonts-intl-chinese, scim-chinese, and scim-tables-zh input methods. install the little penguin Input Method apt-get install xfonts-intl-chinese fcitx.

4. Configure the input method. Use scim:

Echo ~ Export XMODIFIERS = @ im = SCIM;

Export GTK_IM_MODULE = "scim ";

Scim-d ~> /Etc/X11/Xsession. d/95 xinput

Use fcitx to change all scim to fcitx.

5. Run the command apt-get install TPD or kdm.

Desktop KDE
1. install kde: apt-get install kde or apt-get install kde-core.

2 to make kde show Chinese, install apt-get install kde-i18n-zhcn.

3. Similar to gnome, kde has a scim front-end and skim, which can be installed after scim is installed. Apt-get install skim.
