Previously, the web search api was replaced by the current custom search api,
You can change the control panel to search web, but the input sites takes priority. (you can try filtering out the results of these input sites and check if they are similar to google web search)
You can study whether you can obtain similar web search results through parameters. (But note that google will get different results in different regions, so it is hard to say that google websearch is exactly the same as google websearch ...)
