Google cooperates with Maxthon to increase its share

According to foreign media reports, Google has determined to establish cooperation with the Chinese web browser "travel" (Maxthon), which may increase Google's share in the Chinese search market.
Maxthon Partners and senior vice president Jacob bsson said the two companies are working together so that software such as Google Toolbar and notepad can work with the ghost browser. The browser currently supports Chinese, English, and other languages.
The vice president declined to comment on the report, saying Goolge had invested in the Hong Kong-based company. The report cited multiple sources to confirm that Google has obtained a small share of the company. A Google spokesman also declined to comment on the report.
Analysts said such moves show Google's intention that Google is trying to build a stronger commercial influence in the Chinese market, but it has been lagging behind Baidu, a leading Chinese search engine company. However, it is unclear whether or not Google is used as its default search engine. If so, it will bring great benefits to Google.
The vice president of Maxthon pointed out that Baidu is currently the default engine of browser in China, while Yahoo provides international search services. He refused to explain whether the situation would change, nor did he explain what Maxthon was discussing with Google.
The browser currently has 15 million users, which is a relatively small number. The company's vice president said that China accounts for 55% of users, and the second largest market is the United States, followed by Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Russia. Browser games are popular in computer technology fans and the "MySpace generation.
