Google engineers vowed to fix Chrome memory leaks
Google Chrome's reputation has always been good, but this browser is not "flawless". The memory leakage problem has always been a big enemy of Chrome, and PC and mobile phone platforms are all affected. Recently, the Chrome team of Android system said on Reddit AMA that Google engineers have attached great importance to Chrome Memory leakage and vowed to fix the problem.
A Chrome engineer team member said: "We are improving the Chrome startup speed and focus on dealing with memory expansion and Memory leakage. For example, the latency of the first action and the average input have been continuously reduced this year ."
In addition to memory optimization, another major problem of Chrome browser is the high resource usage. The Google team is also seeking a solution to this problem. "We are trying to reduce battery usage and focus on when Chrome runs in front and back ends," said a member of the Chrome team for Android. From the very beginning, Chrome has been committed to improving the security and performance experience of the entire platform. However, sometimes performance improvement will lead to more resource occupation, which is a very serious problem for mobile platforms ."
Judging from the progress, Chrome's improvements have been fruitful. The engineer team vowed to solve the memory leakage problem, so we are expected to experience a more perfect Chrome browser in the future. The Google I/O conference will be held in October 28th day of this month, when Google may announce more details about Chrome browser improvements.
