I first downloaded googleearth from Google. After installation, I found Garbled text (font) and then ran it.
Sudo apt-Get install libqt4-webkit libqt4-gui libqt4-network libqt4-core;
Delete the other three QT library files except libqtwebkit. so.4 under/opt/Google-Earth,
Then start and everything is normal.
In ubuntu
Run
Sh googleearthlinux. Bin
It is installed.
(Note: After installation, a dialog box pops up. Do not run Google Earth now. If Google Earth crashes, something will be left in the installation directory, the installation directory cannot be deleted automatically)
Find the directory where Google Earth is located and run
./Uninstall
That's all.
However, if you add sudo before the installation, that is
Sudo sh googleearthlinux. Bin
Run the command when you uninstall it.
Sudo./uninstall
It will say
Cocould not find a usable uninstall program. Aborting.
First
Sudo Su-
Then go to the directory where Google Earth is located, for example, under/opt/Google-Earth.
Run
./Uninstall
That's all.
As for the desktop, I don't know what it is. Delete it manually.
