Google Go language celebrates three years old birthday

This is a created article in which the information may have evolved or changed. Google go language recently ushered in the 3 birthday. Google first announced the launch of the Go Language program in November 2009 , and as of today, hundreds of external contributors have joined and contributed, and a number of organizations or institutions have begun to move to the go language, including the BBC Worldwide, Canonical, CloudFlare, Heroku, Novartis, SoundCloud and so on. Google has also used the language to develop some Web applications as well as doodles.



The go language combines the easy-to-write nature of dynamic languages with the high efficiency of static languages, initially targeting the design of Web servers, storage systems, and databases , while also incorporating concurrent constructs in the language to help developers create parallel tasks. The Go development team has said that the finished go program runs at a speed close to the C language Implementation program.

This March, Google released the 1th stable version of the Go language, after which Google added a package management system Goinstall (eventually turned into a go command) for the project, adding support for the go language to the app engine. In addition, an interactive introductory tutorial has been created, with additional executable examples.

The development team said it would release the Go 1.1 release in 2013. This release will focus on performance improvements and will include some new features.
