Google announced today that GoogleApps will give up support for Microsoft IE9 in the coming weeks. IE9 users who are using Gmail, calendars, docs, or other googleapps will be prompted to upgrade to IE10 or IE11.

This is Google's consistent product support policy: GoogleApps support for the latest version of Chrome, for IE, Firefox, Safari and other browsers, GoogleApps only support the current version and the previous major version.

October 17, with the release of Windows8.1, IE11 also officially released, so GoogleApps supported IE version of the IE10, IE11,IE9 is about to be abandoned.
