Implementation ideas:

1. Use GPS to collect the signals from the satellites in the sky, and then transmit the data to the PDA through Bluetooth (of course other methods can also be used.

2. Run gpsgate on the PDA, accept data from GPS, and forward the data to the Internet through UDP sender to your home computer.

3. The data forwarded by gpsgate is connected to the Internet through GPRS.

4. Run the PC version of gpsgate on your home computer to receive data from the Internet and forward the received data to the virtual comport.

5. Run Ozi, GPS viewer, Google Earth (with ge2) and other software on the home computer to receive signals from the virtual comport.

6. Get it done!

Data trends: Satellite → GPS (mini sun bird) → Bluetooth → PPC phone → GPS Gate: UDP sender → GPRS → network → computer → GPS Gate: UDP receiver er → virtual com → GPS software PC

Specific operations:

1. Ensure that GPS works properly.

2. Install and run gpsgate on the PDA.

3. On the input page of gpsgate, set the Comport and baud rate of the connection to the GPS hardware, and click open to connect to GPS. 01.

4. On the output page (02) of gpsgate, select a UDP sender (03) and click Add, follow the instructions below to set "IP address and port" (04) in the pop-up window ).

To verify the normal connection between GPS and PDA, you can add virtual COM (Virtual comport) (02) to connect the GPS viewer on the PDA and view the satellite status.

Note: Here "IP address and port" are the public IP address of your home computer, and the port is random. For more information about how to view the IP address of a computer, see the notes.

An IP address like 192.168.1. * is not a public IP address. Don't worry. Be patient and look down.

5. Connect the PDA and GPS to ensure that everything works properly.

You can use GPS viewer to check the satellite status. (05, 06)

6. Connect to GPRS on the PDA. You can open the IE web page to check that the connection is normal.

7. I tested it in units. In the vro, you can see that the IP address of the wide area network is 202.15.xx.xx (07). After a vro is used, many computers share the network. At this time, I have to make a port forwarding on the vro -- find the "virtual server" item (08) on the vro, map port 20175 to my computer 192.168.1.178, and enable it.

8. Install and run the PC version of gpsgate on my computer.

9. Add a UDP protocol ER in the input of gpsgate on the computer, and the port is 20175 (09 ). Add the virtual port virtual com to the output file. (10)

10. Run the GPS viewer on the computer, set the port number and baud rate, and click open GPS to view the real-time remote GPS. (11)

Similarly, run oziexplorer on the computer, set the port number and the baud rate, and connect to the remote GPS. (12)
