HDD Partition Table Repair method

When the hard disk is partitioned through FDISK or other partitioning tools, the partitioning software creates a 64-byte partition table on the hard disk 0 cylinder 0 Head 1 sectors. The partition table functions very large, which sets out the number of partitions on the hard disk, the start and end sectors of each partition, the size, and whether it is an active partition, and other important information. Once the partition table of the hard disk is corrupted, the operating system treats the hard disk as a "bare disk" that has not been partitioned because it does not recognize the hard disk partition. This way, not only does the system not work, but the data that has been saved on the hard disk is not recognized by the system. Although the partition table is only a hard disk "soft fault", is not a real physical hard disk failure, but, because the hard disk often save a large number of important data, so this "soft fault" caused by the consequences is very serious!

1. Repaired by "Jiangmin HDD repair King"

When a partitioned table is corrupted, the most common error message is: "Invalid Partition table" (Invalid partition Tables). For partitioned table faults, you can fix them by "Jiangmin HDD repair King".

First on the Jiangmin company's website download "hdd Repair King" Mirror file and "HD.exe" file, and then through the "HD.exe" will be mirrored to Jiangmin antivirus King 2003 of the key disk. Use the floppy disk to start the computer, in the prompt input "Jmhdfix" and then enter the hard disk repair Wang's main interface.

In the main interface, press the F2 key to enter the "system test and Automatic Repair" interface, the program will automatically detect the hard disk partition table, if the partition table is broken, the screen display:

Please insert a floppy disk to make a backup of the bad boot area information, and its file name is Hdpt.vir. Insert diskette Press "Y" key to continue, press "N" key to exit.

After inserting a floppy disk and pressing the "Y" key, the screen displays:

Note: At this point, KV3000 is repairing the partition table on disk C and do not interrupt its operation. After a while, if the screen appears the following words:

Ok! Ok! Ok!

Press any key to return ...

This means rebuilding the partition table successfully and pressing any key to exit. After restarting the computer, if you can enter C, D and other partitions, repair successful.

2. Repair by Disk Genius

Download Disk Genius.

Unzip the downloaded compressed package, and then copy the main program "Diskgen.exe" of disk genius to the boot floppy disk. Of course, if you don't have a floppy disk, you can also store the software on your hard disk or other media.

After starting the system with this floppy disk, start disk Genius at the prompt, press the ALT key to activate the function menu, and select the "tools → rebuild partition Table" menu command. At this point, the program will appear the "Recommended Backup partition Table" prompt, click the "Continue" button, Disk Genius provides two ways to rebuild the partition table, that is, "automatic" and "interaction." The automatic method preserves every partition found when searching for partitions, which is appropriate for most situations, and the interactive method prompts each partition to be found, and the user chooses whether to keep it. When a partitioned table that is automatically rebuilt is incorrect, it can be searched interactively.

During the rebuild partition process, the searched partitions will be displayed on the screen in time. It does not save immediately, so users can search again and again until the partition table is set up correctly before you save the disk. Disk Genius can repair a large portion of the partition table failure, but for a more severe hard drive, you can only repartition the hard disk.
