HP GEN8 Server Create RAID (there is no physical disks attached)

The latest HP X86 server is the GEN8 series, which uses the ACU tool to create RAID, which is a graphical interface that can be said to be friendlier.

Originally usually if is to buy a new server, standard two hard disk, then the default is done Raid1, but there are accidents, due to the large amount of PC server, a lot of this situation, you need to manually configure the raid, here use my photo to explain.

PC server is not the same as the general PC, if not raid, the server is unable to recognize the hard disk, so we installed the operating system in bulk, reported the following error (there is no physical disks attached-you will need to attach A supported drive to continue) is not raid, then raid, then install the operating system.

Click "Arrays" to see if you have a logical disk after RAID1, and you can see the local two 500G local disk.
