3. What can HP iLO do?

4. How to configure and use HP iLO?
ILO has its own processor, storage, and nic. The default Nic configuration is DHCP. The administrator can enter the iLO interface to modify the IP address, add or modify the management user name and password when the HP Server is started. The initial password of the HP Server is in a tag on the left of the front panel. Pulling it out will show the initial username (Administrator) and initial password.
During initial setup, press the F8 key to go to the iLO settings page, set the management address (a static IP address) for iLO, and add a new administrator user and password.
Specific operations:
On the iLO Management page, select "Administrator> Network" in the left-side pane, select the "IP & NIC Settings" tab in the right-side pane, and deselect "Enable DHCP, set the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway. You can also set the computer Name for the managed server after "iLO Subsystem Name.
Remote Operation:
Assume that the IP address assigned to the server is 192.168.1.234. log on to https: // 192.168.1.234 in the browser on any computer to view the iLO management interface, enter the initial user name and password.
