Print Server Problems
HP Jetdirect prints the server's configuration page. The TCP/IP status displays "TCP/IP Initializing" or "55 bootp in progress ", and HP Jetdirect will not be set to an IP address by default. The IP address will use 0.0.0.0 ).
Print Server Problem Solution
This is not an error. Use a LAN connection line to connect the printing server to the network.
Perform a cold reset on the Jetdirect printing server.
Wait for at least two minutes and print the configuration page.
If the same message is still reported on the configuration page, use the control panel of the printer to configure the connection speed to match the network or hub connection speed.
HP Jetdirect 175XJ6035A) External printing server
Make sure the printer is connected to the LAN.
Perform a cold reset on the HP Jetdirect printing server and wait for at least two minutes.
Wait for at least two minutes and print the configuration page.
Other Jetdirect printing servers
Disconnect the network connection line and reset the HP Jetdirect printing server.
Wait for five to seven minutes, connect to the network connection line, and print the configuration page.
Check that the TCP/IP status is "Ready" and the IP address has been configured or is configured by default, or configured through BootP/DHCP ).
