Have you ever heard of using HP LoadRunner to connect to HP ALM's CAC mode? This article tells you what CAC is and how to connect to the CAC mode in HP Alm.

What is CAC?

The CAC full name is common access card (also known as CAC Card [RAS syndrome]) and is the standard authentication for accessing intranet applications.

How to connect to HP ALM in HP LoadRunner?

In Vugen, press and hold Ctrl+q, and then enter the ALM URL, user name, and password. By default, you need to enter the following details for access.

If you implement CAC mode in HP ALM, then you need to enable CAC mode in Vugen.

How do I enable CAC mode in HP LoadRunner?

In Vugen, go to Tools > options, click Alm under the General tab, as shown in. View Boxconnect in CAC mode, then click OK. In this way, HP ALM is connected to CAC mode.

To disable CAC mode, simply uncheck the option and click OK.
