The two 16-port hubs are connected to a local area network, but half of the computers are often dropped off for no reason, and one of the hub LEDs does not blink. Turn off the hub power, reopen it, and the network is back to normal, but after a while the failure occurs again.
This situation may be preceded by an attempt to press the crimping clamp to suppress the connector if the problem persists. Suspicion is the voltage problem, connected with the filtering function of UPS, the fault still exists, hand contact to the hub, found a slight electric shock feeling, the light of the hub does not flicker, it is suspected leakage caused by the fault.
Open the Hub, check the power cord of the hub, one end is a three-phase line, the other end is a two-phase line, there is no connection ground. Re-replace the power cord and the failure can be resolved.
