Iis w3p.exe application pool and iisapp to check that the cpu usage of the pid is too high
Iisapp-a to display the performance list of the application pool.
Iisapp. vbs it is a script program, which requires sp1 only when 2003 is installed.
Iis7 can directly use its shell command
C: "windows" system32 "inetsrv> appcmd.exe list wp to display
Sometimes the server cannot run directly due to security issues. We can solve this problem through the following methods.
View w3wp process in iis7
In iis, you can use the iisapp command to view all w3wp processes. However, in iis7, Microsoft changed its approach and switched to the appcmd command. The procedure is as follows:
1: The appcmd.exetool is available in the System32 folder.
2: Open the doc command window and locate the folder.
3: enter the command: appcmd list wp to view all w3wp processes.
Use iisapp to view websites with high cpu usage of pid
Isapp-a pid
You can find the corresponding domain name
Reverse iisapp-p domain query pid syntax
Iisapp [/
Apppoolname |/p
Apppoolid]
Parameters
/A apppoolname
Specifies the name of a specific application pool. (Optional)
/P apppoolid
Specify the application pool by id. (Optional)
Note
If no application pool name or id is specified, the iisapp lists all running applications.
Only when/s is used,
To use the/u and/p command line options. You must use both/p and/u to provide the user password.
Iisext. vbs performs the same operations available in the iis Manager. You can use any tool to manage iis websites.
The computer that sends the command must be running windows xp or windows server 2003. The user must be a member of the administrators group on the computer affected by the command.
The computer affected by the command must be a server running windows server 6.0 with internet Information Service (iis) 2003.
Note: the cpu and memory of the worker process are terrible!
Well, let's take a look at how to solve it in practice. The first is windows2003.
First open windows Task Manager-click View-Select column-hook the pid !!,,
You can see the pid option in the process.
Click run-enter cmd-enter iisapp-a-it's strange that the pid is displayed here. It appears one by one in the pop-up window. I don't know what other people will do. That's what I do anyway, this is not conducive to viewing !!
Note: When I heard that blog is running for the first time, I will prompt that no js support is available. Click OK. then run it again. in this way, we can see the application pool corresponding to the pid, and I will not test it!
In this case, enter cd % systemroot % system32 in cmd.
Then enter cscript.exe iisapp. vbs-.
The cmd window is displayed as follows:
W3wp.exe pid: 2488 apppoolid: apppool #26
W3wp.exe pid: 3008 apppoolid: apppool #2
W3wp.exe pid: 4704 apppoolid: apppool #15
W3wp.exe pid: 6388 apppoolid: apppool #19
W3wp.exe pid: 6004 apppoolid: apppool #8
The strange thing is that I still pop up the window, but it does not affect the display! With this, it is easy to do ,!
In the task manager, check the pid of the process that occupies cpu and memory too high. Then you can find out which application pool has a problem and what website has a problem !!!
