Image Path Problems in ASP. NET

Source: Internet

I believe everyone has encountered the image Path Problem in ASP. NET and it is annoying. For example, our image path is under the root directory \ images \. on the homepage, we want to use the images in it. In the user control, we also want to use the images in that directory, user Controls are often placed in a separate directory, so that images cannot be found. If we use masterpage again, the problem becomes more complicated and we cannot figure out where the image is.

Today, we found that a method can better solve this problem.

For a server control: <asp: Image id = "image1" ruant = server imageurl = "~ /Images/img1.jpg "/>

For HTML controls: '>

Some people suggest using relative absolute paths, but there must be a virtual directory, such as the virtual directory ABC, and then use

Imageurl = "/ABC/image/image1.gif ";

However, if there is no virtual directory and it is just a site, this method cannot be used.
