InfoPath and SharePoint (4) Release Form to Form Library, infopathsharepoint
In addition to publishing the Infopath Form to the List, it can also be published to the Form Library. The difference is that infopath in the List is an entry, and an XML file in the Form Library.
Open InfoPath Designer and select SharePoint Form Library when creating a new one:
In the open design form, design this form. What I want to do is a form of procurement information.
First, add a text box with the name:
Double-click Field1 on the right. The edit window is displayed. You can modify the attribute name, type, and so on:
Then add a category attribute. This is a drop-down list:
Add other attributes in the same way, so that the form is designed:
How can I publish it to SharePoint?
Click File in the upper left corner. In Publish, select SharePoint Server:
In this way, the release wizard is opened. Follow the prompts and proceed step by step.
First, enter the URL of the SharePoint Site:
Click Next and you will be asked to select the release type. Three options are available here. The default value is Form Library. The other two will be introduced later.
In the next step, you can choose to create a new Form Library or use an existing one:
Enter the name and description:
Next, the Publishing Wizard selects which attributes in the InfoPath form correspond to a column in SharePoint. After matching, this attribute is a normal column in The SharePoint Library and can be used as a view.
Open the new Form Library and create a new item:
Such a Form is published to Form Library.
