In a Word 2010 document, users can insert an entire file as an object into the current document. File objects that are embedded in a Word 2010 document can be edited using the original program. To insert an Excel file in a Word 2010 document as an example, the following steps are described:
Step 1th, open the Word 2010 document window and position the insertion cursor where you want to insert the object. Switch to the Insert ribbon and click the Object button in the text group, as shown in Figure 2011081604.

Step 2nd, in the Open Object dialog box, switch to the Create by File tab, and then click the Browse button, as shown in Figure 2011081605.

Step 3rd, open the Browse dialog box, find and select the Excel file you want to insert into your Word 2010 document, and click the Insert button, as shown in Figure 2011081606.
