Insert a page number in a Word 2007 document footer

Users can insert page numbers in a Word2007 document when the Word document is larger or if you want to use a page number to indicate the location of the page. By default, page numbers are generally in the position of the header or footer. To insert a page number in a Word document footer, the following steps are described:

Step 1th, open the Word2007 document window and swap to the insert ribbon. Click the Footer button in the header and footer group and select the edit Footer command in the Open Footer panel, as shown in Figure 2008121501.

2nd step, when the footer is edited, click the bottom page button in the Header and footer group in the Design ribbon, and select Normal number 1 or other style page numbers in the open page numbering list, as shown in Figure 2008121502.
