Tables that are usually inserted in PowerPoint slides cannot be manipulated and sorted, but with simple modifications, this functionality can be easily achieved.

Click Object on the PowerPoint Insert menu to open the Insert Object dialog box, select Microsoft Word document, click OK, and a word edit box appears on the slide, and the Table menu appears in the menu bar. Then you can make and manipulate tables like you do in Word, and you can implement the operations and sorting of tables.

You can insert different forms of documents

Editable regions and table items immediately after you insert a Word document

When you're done, click the blank space outside the edit box to return to the edit status of the slide. If you need to edit the table, just double-click the inserted Table object.
