Using controls
This approach is to insert the animation as a control into PowerPoint, which is characterized by its window size being fixed at design time, and the size of the set box is the size of the animation window at the time of the show. When the mouse in the Flash Play window, response to flash mouse events, when the mouse outside the Flash window, response to PowerPoint mouse events, easy to control.
1. Run the PowerPoint program to open the slide you want to insert the animation in.
2. Click the View option on the menu, select Toolbar Control Toolbox from the Drop-down menu, and select the other Controls button from the Drop-down menu.
3. In the next open Control options interface, select the "Shockwave flashobject" option, the "Ten" word cursor, and then move the cursor to the editing area of PowerPoint, draw a rectangular area suitable for size, that is, the area where the animation is played, a box appears.
4. Double-click this box, there is a VB interface, where the Properties window has a "custom" property, point custom next to the three points, the property page appears. Enter the full address of the Flash animation in "Wovie URL" and press [OK]. Note that the suffix name must be fully filled in the path you entered.
Insert Object
In this way, a playback window pops up when you play the slide, and it responds to all the Flash mouse events. You can also adjust the size of the window as needed during playback. Its disadvantage is that after the play is finished, click the [Close] button to close the window.
1. Run the PowerPoint program to open the slide you want to insert the animation in.
2. Select "Insert" from the menu and select "Object" from the open drop-down menu. The Insert Object dialog box pops up, select Create from file, click Browse, select the Flash animation file you want to insert, and then click OK to return to the slide.
3. At this time, on the slide there is a Flash file icon, we can change the size of the icon or move its location, and then right-click on this icon, select the "Action Settings" command.
4. Select "Click Mouse" or "Mouse move" two tabs in the pop-up window, then click "Object Action", select "Activate Content" in the Drop-down menu, and click [OK] to complete the action of inserting the animation.
Insert a hyperlink
This method is simple and suitable for beginners in PowerPoint, and it also inserts EXE-type files into the slides.
1. Run the PowerPoint program to open the slide you want to insert the animation in.
2. Insert any object in it, such as a piece of text, a picture, and so on. The purpose is to set a hyperlink to it. This object is best associated with the contents of the animation to which it is linked.
3. Select this object, click on the "Insert" menu, and in the Drop-down menu that opens the hyperlink.
4. Pop-up window, "link to" select "Original file or Web page", click [File] button, select the animation to insert, click [OK] complete. When you play the animation, just click the Set Hyperlink object.
