In some formal literature, there is usually such a page number, the Total 20th page 15th page, it means that the current page is the total document 20th page, for this part of the content of the 15th page. How is this page number set? position the cursor in the document where you want to restart the calculated page number, open the Insert menu, select the Separator option, and select the page Break radio button from the Separator dialog box, as shown in Figure 1. Click the OK button.

Position the cursor in the text page that precedes the page break, open the Insert menu, select the page number command, eject the page Number dialog box, and set a page number style, as shown in Figure 2.

Then click the Format button to select the Start Page numbering option in the page numbering column in the page Numbering dialog box, and set the number in the next entry box to 1, which can be flexibly set according to your requirements, as shown in Figure 3.

When you are set up, click the OK button continuously. In Word editing state, you can see that a page number has been inserted below the page, and in the text page below it, double-click the page number, activate the header and footer settings, and select the page number, as shown in Figure 4.

Open the Insert menu, select the "Bookmark" option, pop-up "bookmark" dialog box, in the "Book signature" column, any bookmark name, called "ABC" Bar! (as shown in Figure 5).

Click the Add button and the dialog box closes. Move the cursor to the other side of the footer, you can use the SPACEBAR to adjust the cursor position, open the Insert menu, select the field option, Eject the Field dialog box, click the Field Code button, and enter "ABC-5" in the field code input box, as shown in Figure 6.

This number 5 is a two page number difference. When you click OK, the operation is complete, you can now see two page numbers by 5, you can fill in the footer with other text, and adjust the position of two page numbers.
Tip: When entering "ABC-5", there must be a space before and after the letters and numbers. If the settings are complete and the page numbers don't appear as you expect, check this setting first.
