Install a network printer

1. Select "printer and fax" from the Start Menu ".
2. Right-click "Add Printer", click "Next", and select "local printer connected to this computer ", do not select "automatically detect and install my plug-and-play printer ".

5. If the LaserJet printing server being configured has multiple parallel ports, the system will ask you to select the port on which the printer is connected. After confirming the port configuration information, proceed to the next step.
6. Next, go to the printer software (driver) installation panel and select a printer vendor and model (such as HP LaserJet 8100 series pcl6) from the list. If the list does not exist, click "Install from disk" below and select the driver of the printer from the hard diskProgramAnd install. After installation, you can set a name for the printer. 7. In the settings window of whether to share the printer, you can select share or not.
