1. RedHat AS4 system installation:

Host Name: linuxsvr
Gateway: 199.0.0.1
Primary/secondary DNS: 202.103.96.68/202.103.96.112
Basic Firewall Configuration:
⊙ No firewall
⊙ Enable SELinux: Disabled
Installation Options:
⊙ Customize the software package to be installed (C)
Desktop options:
(√) X Window System (select default)
(√) GNOME Desktop Environment (select default)
(√) KDE Desktop Environment (select default)
Application options:
() Engineering and science (select the default)
() Graphical Internet (select default)
(√) Text-based Internet (select default)
() Office/productivity (select default)
Server options:
(√) Server configuration tool (select all)
() World Wide Web Server (select all)
(√) Windows File Server (select all)
() DNS server (select all)
Development Options:
(√) Development tools (select all)
System Options:
(√) Management tools (select default)
(√) Printing support (select the default value)
Miscellaneous options:
Do not select all;
After installation, find the following file in the third installation disk and double-click it. Otherwise, an error is reported during Oracle installation.
Libaio-devel-0.3.103-3.i386.rpm
Please install the software packages listed above. Otherwise, there will be unnecessary errors when installing the Oracle system!
