Install devel: cover to compile with specified Perl

The system has three Perl

1. Perl,/usr/bin/perl Perl-v-> 5.8.8

2. the built-in company PERL/opt/vrtsperl/bin/perl 5.10.0

3. You need to run the PERL/sortdir/advance/perl/bin/perl In the devel: Cover program sort. Currently, 5.14.2

 

1. First copy 5.14.2 to/usr/lib/perl and/opt/vrtsperl/lib/perl, so that Perl under both directories has our latest version.

2. Download cpanm to install the module

3. Download the app: pmuninstall. To uninstall the module

Cpanm app: pmuninstall

4. Use cpanm to install devel: Cover

Cpanm devel: Cover

This will use the default Perl compilation and installation, but all the dependency packages of devel: cover will be better.

5. Uninstall devel: Cover

PM-uninstall devel: Cover

Only uninstall devel: Cover. All installed dependency packages do not change.

6. Use the specified Perl to reinstall devel: Cover

/Sortdir/advance/perl/bin/perl-mcpan-e 'Install devel: cover' check that the installation is successful .. If @ INC cannot find any information, add the corresponding path in the directory to perl5lib. If the installation still fails, re-start a window and then install it. The following are helpless points: 1. I don't know how to specify Perl 2 for compilation in cpanm or CPAN. when you use CPAN or Perl-mcpan to install devel: cover, you cannot install dependencies together or the installation always fails. 3. if you use the default Perl to install devel: cover
Error. The version is inconsistent. 4. if you do not copy 5.14.2 to the other two directories, the installation will fail, prompting that the two versions are inconsistent. In short, it must be a stupid way to solve a simple problem, however, after several days of searching, I do not know how to solve the problem .. PS. After the installation is complete, devel: Cover can run, but it is very slow. I don't know whether it is my VM problem or the installation is wrong, cpanm is really a good tool. It is recommended that you install it easily.
