Install with a USB flash drive

1. Use CentOS 7 system image to create a USB disk boot disk 1) download the CentOS 7 System Image

2) create a USB flash drive

2. Install CentOS 7

Press F12 to start the USB flash drive. How to set the USB flash disk to start will not be repeated here. No friends will go to Baidu.

Up and down arrows, select the first item, and press the Tab key to change the display content:

vmlinuz initrd=initrd.img linux dd quiet

Press enter to run the command to view the path name of the USB flash drive, for example:

The USB flash drive name is sda4. Remember this. Enter 'C' to continue, or the system may not respond. Manually restart the computer or enter the command 'reboot' to restart the computer.

After the restart, the command is changed:

vmlinuz initrd=initrd.img inst.stage2=hd:/dev/sdb4 quiet

 

Go to the installation page and select a language.

Click the software selection icon and select the installation graphical interface ,:

Click Finish. Return to the menu and select the installation location.

One of them is our USB flash drive (small space). select another disk. Select 'I want to make extra space' for the storage option and click Finish.

If this option is not selected, select 'I want to configure partition' and click Finish. Then, you can select the option again.

Delete unnecessary space and click recycle space. If none of them are needed, delete them all.

Go to the installation location page again, select 'I want to configure partition', and click Finish.

You can select a partition scheme based on your needs. Click the plus sign to add a mount point. The capacity can be 10 Gb or MB. You can set the Partition Scheme Based on your needs. The mount point is not required. You can remove the mount point by clicking.

Click Finish to accept the change.

Return to the menu page. You can continue to configure the network and host name, or configure the host name later. Start Installation

Set the root account password and custom account settings. Wait until the installation is complete, restart the computer, and complete the final configuration.

After the computer is restarted, a graphical licensing interface is displayed. Accept the permission and complete the configuration. If you enter the command interface, pressCtrl+Alt+F1Switch to the graphic interface.
