FFmpeg is a free and open-source multimedia framework that can run video, conversion, and stream functions in multiple formats of audio and video, contains libavcodec, a decoder library for audio and video in multiple projects, and libavformat, a library for converting audio and video formats.

Installation is very convenient because PPA is available. Open the terminal and enter the following command:
Sudo add-apt-repository ppa: samrog131/ppa
Sudo apt-get update
Sudo apt-get install ffmpeg
Run the following command to uninstall ffmpeg:
Sudo apt-get remove ffmpeg
Download and install other systems:
Download FFmpeg 2.2.2
