* Libgtk2.0-dev
* Libscim-dev
* Libtool
* Automake
Run the following command to check whether the tool is installed. If not, it will automatically help you install the tool:
$ Aptitude install autotools-dev libgtk2.0-dev libscim-dev libtool automake
C. Compile:
Remember that the system must first have SCIM (if not, sudo apt-get install scim)
$./Autogen. sh
$ Make
$ Sudo make install
Restart scim:
Disable scim: pkill scim
Then start: scim-d
Select scim as the default input method for "language-supported" Input Method in the preference. Then, log out and click OK.
If Google's input method cannot print Chinese characters, restart scim to solve the problem.
