Install Linux on VMware Server
VMware Server (formerly known as VMware GSX Server)
VMware is a virtual machine software that can be installed on most pc-level servers or PCs. In vmwarevirtual machine software, it can install Windows operating systems, Linux/Solaris operating systems (due to chip reasons, I cannot simulate IBM's aix and hp-ux. I have heard that software with analog chips may have poor performance, but I have not tried it yet) for learning and virtualization.
VMware Server installation
Vmware server can be searched from the official website http://www.vmware.com/cn/#baidu to install the software. (The installation steps are not described. You can keep the default settings)

Install Linux on VMware Server
1) Virtual Machine Settings
1. After the installation is complete, double-click the desktop icon by default. (if not, open IE and enter https: // localhost: 8333/ui /)
2. Select to continue browsing this website (because the https certificate IE does not trust it, continue)
3. Enter the operating system user name and password (if there is no password, you must set it), log in.
4. Select create external Ural to create a virtual machine (operating system)
5. Custom Virtual Machine Name: linux_Oracle_willson DATASTORE is the storage location (logical location) of the Virtual Machine. Next step:
6. Select the operating system as linux operating version as RedHat5.2 32bit (you can customize the version you downloaded). Next:
7. Memory settings and custom settings. Here I set 2 GB. We recommend that you set count to 1 for the chip. (setting 2 for Virtual Machine problems will cause you to modify the parameters after restarting)
8. Select create a new virtual disk to create a disk.
9. Disk size, custom settings. Set 200 GB here
10. Select Add a physical Nic and click Next
