In addition, you need an image of VMware Workstation 7, the original Snow Leopard system and the darwin_snow_legacy boot disc. After you have prepared the image, you can start to install it.
First, create a new virtual system. The system selects FreeBSD 64bit in other, memory 1 GB, and hard disk 25 GB. By default, other functions are supported.
After the virtual machine is created, shut down the virtual machine and go to the directory of the new virtual machine to open it in a text document. vmx file, change guestos = "FreeBSD 64bit" to guestos = "darwin10", save and exit.
Re-open the VM and use the darwin_snow_legacy image to boot the system. After the screen is displayed, change it to the image of the snow leopard system. Then press F5 to change it to the MAC system and press Enter. PS: If you download a DMG image, you can change the image type to all files when selecting the image.
Wait a moment to go to the installation interface of snow leopard.
When we chose to install the disk, we found that the disk was not identified, because we have not converted the disk into a format that can be recognized by Mac.
Click "utility"> "disk tool" at the top of the page to select your virtual machine, and then click "erase.
Click red in the upper left corner to exit the disk tool. At this time, the Mac recognizes our disk. Click "Install" to start installation.
After the installation is complete, a message indicating installation failure is displayed.
Don't be afraid. Change to the darwin_snow_legacy image and restart the virtual machine. Select Mac to start.
This is the final user setting, which is very simple.
Now, the original Snow Leopard system has been installed successfully. However, the system is still a bit defective and cannot be modified without sound and resolution. Download ensoniqaudiopci 2. after mpkg is installed, there will be sound. After installing vmtool In the Darwin image, you can modify the resolution.
