1. Install the Red Hat 5 system on the Virtual Machine

(1) file → new → viutual machine on the toolbar to create a new Virtual machine

2. Select I will install the operating system later → next
3. Select Linux in the Guest operating system item; select Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 in the Version item → next
4. The virtual machine name can be set by default. You can choose another place> next.

6. click "Customize Hardware", select "New CD/DVD (IDE)" in the "Device" column, and select "Use ISO image file" in "Connection" on the right ", then you can browse to the location where your Red Hat image is placed → OK → finish.
(2) formally install the system
1. Power on this virtual machine to start Installation
2. Press enter on the first static screen
3. the user interface that appears next will require you to check whether the disk is installed. Then, "Skip" is enough.
4. Then enter the graphical installation interface → next
5. The language selection interface is default (English by default) → next
6. The default page in keyboard format (U. S. English by default) → next
7. On the Installation Number page, select "Skip entering installation Number" → OK → Skip
8. The warning page appears. Select Yes.
9. in this case, go to the hard disk partition page: It is generally divided into three partitions (/boot partition: 100 M; swap partition: twice the memory;/primary partition: remaining space ), select Create M layout → next from the drop-down list.
10. this page is a graphic interface for hard disk partitioning. Click the new button to display the ADD Partition page. Select "/boot" for "Mount Point". The default size is 100 mb. → "OK; click the new button to create a swap partition. The Mount Point is empty, the File System Type is Swap, And the size is set to twice the size of the memory. Similarly, you can create a primary partition, select/for the Mount Point. For the size, select "Fill to maximum allowable size. → OK → next

2. Install the oracle database on the System
