1. Download the 11g Release 1 (11.1.06) Linux installation package, 11.1.07patch

Ii. Install Oracle Database 11.1.06

The installation must be performed on a non-root user; otherwise, an error occurs.

Decompress the installation package,./runinstaller

(1) set the path of Oracle Home and the path of Oracle Base. Home must be the sub-path of Base, and Oracle Home is the path installed by DB. After the installation is complete, the path of Oracle Home and the path of Oracle Base are the values of the environment variables $ ORACLE_HOME and $ ORACLE_BASE respectively. Set Global Database Name, which is the value of $ ORACLE_SID after installation.

My settings are Oracle Base:/scratch/app/oracle, Oracle Home:/scratch/app/oracle/product/11.1.0/db_1, Inventory Directory:/scratch/app/oraInventory

These missing installation packages and corresponding kernel parameters can be seen on the installation interface. For the missing installation package, go to http://rpm.pbone.net/site, and then run the rpm-ivh command to install the package. Some installation package dependencies may be solved.

For Kernel Parameter warnings, You need to edit the/etc/sysctl. conf file. The meaning of each parameter is:

Kernel. shmmax indicates the maximum shared memory.

Shmmni indicates that the minimum shared memory is fixed at 4096KB.

Shmall indicates all memory sizes

The four parameters of sem are SEMMSL in sequence: each user has the maximum number of semaphores, SEMMNS: the maximum number of system semaphores, SEMOPM: the number of calls to the semopm system each time, and SEMMNI: the maximum number of system worker sets. Ip_local_port_range indicates the port range, which is the specified content.
