Install VMware Tools on a Linux Virtual Machine
I have been playing with VMware Workspace Virtual Machine Software for a long time. I am familiar with Windows, but I am not familiar with Linux. Today I have encountered the problem of installing VMware Tools for Linux, here, I will record it here. You are welcome to discuss it together.
The experiment here is the RedHat version of Linux, and other Linux versions are the same.
Effect before installing VMware Tools
Find the file of your VMware Tools, double-click it, or click "Virtual Machine" to install vmwaretools. The corresponding folder is displayed, for example:
Decompress the compressed package with the Administrator command
Tar-xzvf VMwareTools-9.6.0-1294478.tar.gz
However, it seems that this compressed package is in the virtual optical drive and cannot be decompressed directly, so I will copy it to another place to decompress it. After decompression, the package is as follows:

Follow the prompts to press the Enter key until the installation is complete.
After the installation is complete, restart the system.
